Akatsuki Base

Leaving his office as the leader of the Rain, Yuudai used the body flicker jutsu to moved through the village. He reached his destination "This is where Akatsuki will also operate from. The other villages wouldn't expect us to be here. Nor would they search for us here. So this will be a safe haven for everyone". Yuudai said as he walked into what will be the meeting room. A fox grin came to his face underneath the mask. There were endless possibilities for both Akatsuki and the Rain village. And since Itachi didn't have a home country for himself any more. He would have to claim this as his own, under the disguise as Yuudai.

Yuudai sat down in what would be his chair in the meeting room and smiled. If only someone could see the sharingan underneath his glasses. But he didn't waste anytime, he soon rushed back to his leadership post. He needed some one to act in his stead while he was away for a while. Perhaps Naruto will have to be more active around the other headquarters.

"I cant believe Itachi actually took over this whole village, hes stronger than I thought." Arashi begins to enter the new Akatsuki base and thinks about how the plans of Akatsuki are unfolding. "Itachi told me to come so this must be important."Arashi opens the door to the meeting room and enters.

"Oh Arashi i didn't expect to see you so soon. As you can see i have the Rain village under my control. And while i am here, i will be known to these people as Yuudai. I'm sure you have noticed the difference in my appearance. Everything is absolutely different about me". It was true since Itachi took the liberty to change, his a few things about him. But thats was only his disguise while inside the Rain village.

"I want you to do something for me Arashi-san. I need you to check out the Sand village, i heard they recently elected a new Kazekage. And i want to know, if there any jinchuuriki housed there. But this particular mission requires a lot of stealth. You must not be seen r heard. Nor should you engaged anyone in combat, no one should know your an akatsuki for that matter. Perhaps the people on the outskirts of the Sand village can help ya. I hear gossip goes along way". Yuudai said with a fox grin underneath his mask. Akatsuki needed to do a lot of reckon mission, to be make sure they were on point.

"So you want me to spy on the sand"Arashi takes a seat infront of Itachi "Well okay then I will take a look at the sand village and learn their secrets"Arashi gets up and begins to leave."Well I will report back when I get the information see you later Itac I mean Yuudai"Arashi then walks out the room and heads for the sand village

Arashi walks into the room with a smile on his face while looking at Itachi "Itac I mean Yuudai I have returned with information of the sand." Arashi takes off his hat and takes a seat "should I tell him everything?" Arashi begins to say to himself. "Well I infiltrated the sand like you told me to and was getting the information you wanted me to get quite easily." Arashi pulls out a kunai and begins to clean a it."The kazekage's name is Jin and they have a jinchuuriki named gaara."Arashi puts back his kunai and walks to the window."But then my identity was found out by the kazekage himself" Arashi stops talking and waits to see what Itachi reaction will be.

Yuudai listened to Arashi's report carefully. And from the sound of Arashi's report, something happened that Yuudai didn't want to happen. It seems Arashi's cover were blown. "So your cover were blown even though i told you not to be seen or heard. This is troublesome, but what was the reaction of the kazekage?". Yuudai asked curiously. It may be a good thing, depending on Arashi's answer.

"So then tell me how they reacted to your presence". Yuudai said as he took a seat and waited for Arashi to finish his report.

"How did the kazekage react you ask, not good at all" Arashi puts a smile on his face while looking outside the window."I thought I was going to get into a fight with him actually." Arashi faces Yuudai while touching the wrist the kazekage grabed him by."Yes a fight thats what would have happened" Arashi thinks to himself."But befor my identity was realized I gained valuable information." Arashi takes a seat again."It seems the kazekage is planning a war." Arashi crosses his arms with a bigger smile on his face then before."So I told him that he should be allies with akatsuki."Arashi stops talking and stares at Yuudai."Do you want to know his answer?" Arashi taunts Yuudai well knowing that Yuudai wants to hear the information, Arashi then waits for Yuudai's reply.

"Stop play game Arashi". Yuddai said as he looked at Arashi. He could tell Arashi was playing around, but this was no time to be doing that. "Well then let me know what the so called Kaxekage said". Yuudai said jokingly, he was playing along with Arashi. But that would soon stop depending on his answer.

"The Sand village is planning a war. But who could they be going against". Yuudai thought to himself as he awaited Arashi's answer. Things could be troublesome, if this war is waged against akatsuki.

"Well the kazekage agreed to be allied with Akatsuki and he actually wants to meet with you Yuudai"Arashi puts his hat back on and gets serious."I think he wants to talk about his plans, akatsuki could use this to better our position and power" Arashi crosses his fingers and waits for Yuudai's reply.

"That's good news. But i don't trust this Kazekage, i should go and find out what he has to gain. These so called major villages are very sly. I will have a talk with him, but if he tries anything, i will kill him". Yuudai said with as he looked at Arashi.

"So what do you think about this Arashi? This Kazekage, I'm not sure what to make of him. Not yet at least. But if he wants our help, he should send us a gift of some sort". Yuudai then looked at Arashi. "Well you mission wasn't a complete failure". But they still needed to be careful. There were no telling what would come of this.

"The kazekage needs us, with the amount of ninja he has now there is no way he can fufill his ambitions of war,but I agree that we cannot trust him, we will have to meet him to find out more about this kazekage,and we should talk to him about his plans."Arashi gets up from his seat and begins to walk back and forth thinking about the dangers if the kazekage is actually trying to make a trap against the akatsuki "we can't trust him not yet" Arashi stops walking and looks back at Yuudai."We should have the other members come to the meeting of you and the kazekage and stay hidden just incase something happens" Arashi waits for Yuudai's answer waiting if he agrees with Arashi's plan.

"I like your little idea Arashi. I was thinking the same thing. It would be wise to have the others around, just in case something should happen. But i also noticed that the Kazekage is looking to gain something from us. Or more like he's trying to use us. I don't like this one bit. As of this moment, Akatsuki needs to be vigilant at all times. We can't take any chances, but i will meet with this Kazekage Arashi". Yuudai said with a smile on his face. Maybe it was time to change his disguise again. Things were starting to get interesting.

Nighting still battle wounded rushed in. "Sorry to interupt, but I've discovered a demon that could be of some use to us." Nighting was panting heavily and trying to keep himself up. He looked at Arashi and Itachi waiting for their responses.

"A demon you say, that sounds very interesting Nighting, is that why you have those wounds you look even worse then before" Arashi smiles at Nighting's condition."Well Yuudai this seems very intersting dont you think?"Arashi turns to Yuudai and waits for his reply.

Yuudai were expecting to have a private conversation with Arashi. But they were interrupted by Nighting. "Nighting-san its been a while since i saw you". Yuudai said to Nighting. But it seems Nighting wasn't there for a casual visit. "A demon may be of some use. But which bijuu are we talking about. And where did you get this information Nighting?".

This was surely a surprise, Yuudai needed to know every bit of information. But one had to wonder, just how did Nighting come to knows this. And it also seems like he had to pay a price for it. But a demon would get akatsuki's blood pumping.

"I do apologize for my absence. Well its not exactly one of the bijuus." Nighting began. "His name is Kantamaru Nara. He is an Anbu for Konoha. He has a demon inside him, just not one of the bijuus. The reason I found this important is because when we decide to invade Konoha, we would need to know about him. If we could take him out before hand, then that would be one less worry for us." Nighting paused for a moment. "I got this info from fighting him in the hidden mist. I would have been killed had I not escaped. That guy waited for the last minute to bring out the demon's chakra and I couldn't fight it in my condition.

"This kantamaru sounds troublesome, we will have to get rid of him" Arashi begins to talk aloud speaking to Yuudai and nighting."He will be trouble if we try invade the leaf now, how annoying." Arashi stops talking and begins to smile "I have come up with a plan!" Arashi turns to Yuudai."Remember what you said about the kazekage giving us a gift, his gift should be for him to capture this demon, this way we can find out if we can trust the kazekage or not, the kazekage will most likely will be weak after the battle as well he wouldn't be able to do anything if we choose to kill him!" Arashi gives an evil smile and waits for Yuudai's reply

Yuudai listened carefully to Nighting and Arashi. "Indeed this Kantamaru sounds troublesome. But I'm interested to see just what kind of demon he has inside of him. Perhaps it would be a bonus for us". Yuudai then smiled as he looked at Nighting and Arashi. "Who would have thought the leaf were housing a demon. And its not a bijuu. We should eliminate this Kantamaru indeed and take control of his demon". Yuudai than looked at the two members.

"As for you little plan Arashi. I am in favor of it, but such a plan may have its draw backs. You see we have to take into consideration just how far the Kazekage is willing to go. We must remember that we are the bad guys. And as the bad guys, people like the Kazekage will often change sides. They will do these things to save themselves. Especially when the other nations form an alliance against them. So we have to be careful, but we can test the kazekage though. just like you are suggesting Arashi". Yuudai then looked at the two. There was work to be done. but Akatsuki's main focus may be the leaf village and their demon.

"This is great." Nighting said. He felt proud that he was able to provide the Akatsuki with valuable info. But he remebered to not get too prideful. "If it's alright with you itachi, may I go watch to make that the Kazekage doesn't turn on us. It would be unfortunate for the Akatsuki were to fall into a trap set up by the Kazekage and Konoha. I won't attack. I'll just watch and report to you what the results were." Nighting wanted to at least watch kantamaru get his butt kicked. He hated the fact that he had to flee from the battle. Nighting waited for Itachi's answer.

"I agree on what Nighting is saying, we should have somebody spying on the kazekage, and plus he was already making plans of war on a village".Arashi stops talking and thinks of something "we can use this to our advantage as well we can give the leaf this information and make it seem that the sand is getting ready to go to war with the leaf.Arashi walks to the window and begins to speak "the leaf well then not trust the sand, the kazekage will have to ally himself with us seeing as he is low on shinobi, and if he goes to war with the leaf he will surely lose." Arashi looks at his fellow Akatsuki members and waits for their reply.

Yuudai listened to his fellow members as they voiced their ideas. "Its all seems like a good idea to me. You two seem to have everything planned out. But Nihgting, go on with your spying mission first. I want you to report back with valuable information. And please stay out of trouble, it will be a bother if something stupid should happen". Yuudai said as he looked and Nighting. "And remember, while I'm in this disguise, i am the rain villages leader Yuudai. So please address me as such in the future Nightning". Yuudai then turned his attention to Arashi.

"I like your idea of leaving the Kazekage with no choice. But we have to be smarter than that. He could easily turn this on us and that would be trouble. But i will take your plan into consideration. Nighting will go on with his reckon mission. And depending on the outcome of our meeting with the Kazekage. We may have to use your tactic Arashi, but for now. We will take it one step at a time". Yuudai then looked at the two members. As the leader he needed to avoid rash decision making. Especially at a time like this.

Then suddenly Takashi appeared from the summon dragon that itach sent to the old akatsuki headquarters. He then jumped out of its mouth and started to dry his clothes from the spit that came from the dragons. "ewww disgusting, for me to sit in that things mouth is not my style." said Takashi as he then focused on Itachi but Takashi had an evil looked on his face. "Itachi san how dare you go not consult me first about you're decision making and plans. I just came back from a sparring match with Matsuhi and you didn't summon me" said Takashi as he got out a kunai and threw it at Itachis head just a couple of meters off course to get his reaction .

"I see your here Takashi-san". Yuudai said as he the kunai passed him. "As you can see, Itachi is not here, while I'm playing the part of the leader of this village. You will refer to me as Yuudai". He said as he looked at Takashi with a smile on his face. But he was being very serious.

"By the way, if you pull a stunt like that next time, you won't like the outcome baka. If you weren't so hasty to have a sparing match you would have known about this. And to be fair none of our members knew. So you had to find out like everyone else. So if you don't mind, take a seat. We are discussing important things here". Yuudai said as he looked at the Takashi. Now that he was the leader of the Rain village, he had to change his appearance somewhat. No one would be able to recognize him as Itachi. He even altered his voice along with his appearance. It was somewhat of a new look to be precise and the perfect disguise.

"I see so this is the new plan i like it Yuudai sama, so what is the meaning of taking over this village sure you must have something planning on doing. What about the sand village thats my target and if you're planning on taking it over i want to be in charge of that operation" said Takashi as he took his set and wiped the dragon spit off his face once more.

He then looked at arashi and nighting knowing that they already heard all the details before him. But once more Takashi kept his cool as things was getting even more interesting for the akatsuki organisation. He then sat back, crossed his legs and awaited further information that Yuudai was to share with the members.

"I took control of this village for a number of reason. Akatsuki needed somewhere, where we will be safe. And unlikely to be hunted while they were there, plus somewhere that could provide the perfect cover. And an civil war torn village like this, would do just that. Also at the same time gaining the trust of the people of the village". Yuudai said as he explained to Takashi.

"At this time we are not trying to eliminate the Kazekage. Its actually the opposite, it seems he wants to be our allies. But we are reluctant to trust him, so Nighting will do a bit of reckon. And we will have several meetings with him. just to see how far he is willing to go. But if anyone is going to kill the Kazekage, I'm sure it will be your Takashi". Yuudai then leaned back into his chair as he instructed the dragon to gather the rest of the Akatsuki. He was also waiting on input from the other members.
